I received my doctorate in chiropractic from National College of Chiropractic in Illinois, August 1986. I was an associate doctor in Auburn, ME before I established Couture Chiropractic Center in 1988.

I became a certified chiropractic sports physician shortly after starting private practice. This allowed me to give more expertise in treating athletes and their specific injuries.

I was appointed as one of five chiropractors in the state to serve on the Maine Board of Chiropractic Licensure. An honor given by the governor.

My position on the Board is the complaint officer. I am also a member of the Maine Chiropractic Association.

Chiropractic is an extremely fulfilling profession. Everyday, I help sick people get well, there is nothing more rewarding in life. I truly love what I do - it's not a job but a gift I give to others.

I am fortunate enough to live in Kennbunk with my husband and two children. We love the ocean community and the friendly people. Our hobbies include golfing, skiing, hiking and camping.
